Whiskers & Whine

It’s our 25th Anniversary and we’ve decided to celebrate despite being in the midst of a pandemic! Join us for our virtual Whiskers & Whine (see what we did there?) Weekend on November 13-15. That’s right! Three days of inspiring stories, loveable pets and did we mention four staff members sleeping at the shelter throughout the entire event? (Thank you REI for the equipment!)

With your $100 “virtual” ticket purchase, you’ll receive a gift box with discounts and offers to local eateries (valued at more than $100). You’ll also have special access to shows throughout Whiskers & Whine Weekend featuring our food vendors, success stories, FAR alumni and more!

Like many other nonprofits and animal shelters across the country, we’ve been financially impacted by COVID-19. Our Resale Boutiques, a major source of funding for FAR, were shut down for a majority of the summer. We are currently conducting adoptions by appointment but our Brynne Smith Memorial Campus has been closed to walk-in visitors since March 17th. Now more than ever, the animals need your support.
