Sadie’s journey with us shows the power of patience and perseverance. She arrived on September 20, 2023, with her eight tiny puppies, only 2½ weeks old. Shortly after intake, Sadie and her litter were diagnosed with ringworm, requiring three months of isolation and treatment. Through it all, Sadie remained patient and gentle, and once cleared, she began to blossom.
She enjoyed playtime with other dogs, but after 200 days and only two adoption appointments, she was still waiting. A social media video of Sadie went viral, reaching over 660,000 viewers and touching hearts everywhere.
On April 7, 2024, after more than six months in our care, Sadie finally found her forever home. Her story shows that even the longest journeys can lead to the happiest endings.
