Veterinary Technician
As a veterinary technician in a small shelter, you will be involved in every aspect of shelter operations, intakes, diagnostics, fluid therapy, medication administration, and client education—all while upholding the core values of Foothills Animal Rescue. You will work closely with the team to provide the highest standard of animal care and serve as a relationship builder, collaborating with staff, volunteers, and department leaders to solve problems and implement meaningful improvements.
Your overall responsibility is to support the physical, medical, and behavioral care of all our rescued animals, while assisting in the day-to-day activities of an animal shelter. This position does require direct handling of cats and dogs, of all sizes. Must be able to adhere to the agency’s policies and procedures, while demonstrating a positive attitude. Impeccable communication skills are a must.

Resale Store Associate
The Resale Store Associate performs daily duties of processing donated items, customer service, cash handling. High energy and self-motivation is a must. Able to assist donors and customers with donated items to include loading and unloading vehicles. Mentors and guides volunteers. Ensure adherence to all policies and procedures. Ability to work as part of a team and take initiative independent of direct supervision.
