Health and Safety
The health and wellbeing of our staff, volunteers, patrons, community and animals in our care are always our priority. Please be aware that entering a shelter environment or any of our facilities has inherent risk of exposure to zoonotic and other animal to animal, direct contact and airborne transmissible diseases. There is also inherent risk of pet related injuries, such as bites, scratches and falls.
If you have pets, we highly recommend that they are current on all vaccines before entering the shelter or bringing home/meeting a new animal.
Foothills Animal Rescue has mainly in-door, climate controlled facilities to include the Brynne Smith Memorial Campus, the Scottsdale Resale Boutique and the Carefree Resale Boutique. Masks remain optional for staff, volunteers and visitors.
Foothills Animal Rescue staff and volunteers will do our best to mitigate these inherent animal risks. By entering any of our facilities, you are voluntarily entering and assuming these risks; therefore Foothills Animal Rescue is not liable for any and all transmission of disease or injury.
