Foothills Animal Rescue (FAR) is a cage-free, non-profit (501(c)3) organization that saves lives by rescue, care and adoption of homeless cats and dogs.

FAR  has been saving lives since 1995.  We  have been successful in helping to reduce homeless pets within our community through rescue, loving care and the ability to provide a temporary safe “haven” while working towards finding them a forever home.  We are able to provide shelter for 60 80 orphaned pets in our Adoption Center and foster programs.  We rely on our dedicated volunteers to socialize, groom, exercise and help keep our shelter and Adoption Center clean and organized.  FAR works closely with the community by providing animal welfare resources and education of responsible pet ownership.

Plea for Lucky and Patches

Adoption request-  We would love to have all of our orphaned pets adopted right away but sometimes it takes a little longer for  the right person to show up and fall in love with their soul mate.  That is our wish for Lucky and Patches.

Kittens, Kittens, Everywhere….   FAR has been busy rescuing homeless kittens for the last month and our fosters are doing such a great job getting them ready for adoption.  If you are interested in adopting a kitten or two, a cat adoption counselor will guide you through the process. For those that do not want to raise another “teenager” ( as we call our kittens), we have wonderful adult cats that have just as much spunk and playfulness without the “cattitude”.  Please check our available cats and see which one would be purrfect!!
